George Dila's fiction and
personal essays have appeared in such publications as North
American Review, Driftwood, Literal Latte, Current, Christian Science
Monitor, Traverse, Detroit Free Press and others. His short
story collection, The End of the World, was published
by Pure Heart Press in 2006. His second story
collection, Nothing More to Tell, will be released by
Mayapple Press in July, 2011. Born and raised in Detroit,
his vocations have included advertising creative director, New
York City waiter, casino Blackjack dealer, actor and director,
but never, his parents were always proud to point out, bowling
alley pin-setter. |
